Graham Hunt, multi instrumentalist, child prodigy, songwriter.

Graham's extraordinary musical life started at the age of 4 when his Father, Jack Hunt, an accomplished pianist/composer, took him to see a band at the Trades Hall in Portsmouth , and encouraged him to play drums and the xylophone. Graham appeared with his father on stage on many occasions, in various venues on the South Coast. Sadly his father died of cancer at the age of 42. Graham was also devoted to his mother, who together with next door neighbour Evelyn Cawdeary, brought Graham up after the death of his father. A gifted music teacher, Ken Williams, became a surrogate father, mentor, and great influence. So this early context and life experience, undoubtedly shaped Graham in his formative years, and influenced his personality and approach to situations later in life.

Graham quickly mastered both instruments under Ken's tutelage and continued to appear on stage in local performances often featuring as the main attraction. In 1956 he played xylophone in an " All Your Own" BBC broadcast.
