Aubrey Small

Graham's songwriting input to the Aubrey Small album and single released in 1971, was significant. He contributed  5 out of the 12 songs featured on the album, and the flip side of the single, written at a time when he was beginning to develop  his considerable songwriting skills. The chosen songs were selected by the band in consultation with the record producer John Anthony to represent the variety of live performances, and to bring a balance to the overall album. Graham's songs on the album were all ballads, but his songwriting ability was to progress in later years to encompass a wide range of styles, all eminating from a strong narrative and story line drawn from human experience.  Aubrey Small are planning to incorporate Graham's  songs in a future new album.

Graham Hunt  Legacy

Over a period spanning from the late 60's to his passing in 1999, Graham wrote and recorded a prolific number of songs in the form of demo tracks, on a Sony 4 track reel to reel tape recorder. The songs were multi tracked by Graham, some in a basic guitar/voice format, and others more complex, including bass, rhythm and keyboard. The tracks included in Songs 1 and 2 represent the variety of recording approaches and the range of song types. Apart from "Why" ( Aubrey Small ), they are presented on this site with only minimal additional mastering to allow the songs ( and Graham ) to speak for themselves. Graham left this considerable legacy  of recorded songs to his Cousin Terry Aldridge, and in recognition of the value of this body of work, some are made available on this site, for a wider audience to enjoy. An album of Graham's songs is proposed in the future depending on demand
